米テキサス州 銃乱射で20人死亡
Police in the US state of Texas say a mass shooting at a shopping mall in El Paso has left 20 people dead and at least 26 people wounded.
米テキサス州の警察は、エルパソのショッピングモールでの銃乱射で20人が死亡、少なくとも26人が負傷したと述べた。
Police say they have taken a 21-year-old suspect into custody.
警察は21歳の容疑者を拘留したと伝えている。
The shooting occurred in an area where there are large retail stores, including Walmart, at around 10 a.m. on Saturday.
銃乱射は、土曜日の午前10時頃、ウォルマートを含む大規模商業施設で起きた。
Shots are believed to have been fired in at least two locations. Investigators say they are not ruling out the possibility of other suspects and they are searching a wide area around the scene.

ABC news reports that, if officially confirmed, the 18 fatalities would make the massacre one of the top 10 deadliest shootings in American history.

El Paso is located on the border with Mexico.
