フランスは、変異したウィルス拡大を止めるため、ヨーロッパ連合の域外の国との行き来を原則禁止する。
Prime Minister Jean Castex announced on Friday that all arrivals from outside the European Union will be banned from Sunday, except for essential travel.
カステックス首相は金曜日、記者会見し、変異したウイルスが感染拡大を加速させるおそれがあるとして、EU域外の国からの入国を、日曜から必要不可欠な場合を除いて禁止すると発表した。
The country imposed stricter nighttime measures two weeks ago, moving up the start of a curfew by two hours to 6 p.m.
フランスでは、2週間前に夜間の対策を強化し、外出禁止の開始時間を2時間早め午後6時からとした。
But the number of daily infections remains high at around 20,000. Some 10 percent of them are believed to involve more contagious variants.
しかし新型コロナウイルスの1日の感染者数は平均して2万人前後と高止まりしていた。
The prime minister said large shopping centers that don’t handle food will be stopped from operating, and police will crack down on curfew violators.
首相によると、食料品を扱わないショッピングモールの営業を禁止するほか、警察官を動員して夜間外出禁止の違反者の取締りを強化するという。
Castex said, “Our duty is to do all we can to avoid a new lockdown.” He warned that the coming days will be crucial.
カステックス首相は「私たちの義務は、新たなロックダウンを避けるため出来ることは全てやることだ」今後、数日が決定的に重要であると警告した。
